In 2018 my DesignU group at the University of Minnesota redid the website for Art Shanties, an organization that holds an art festival on frozen Lake Harriet in Minneapolis each year.

Examples of some websites I have designed. In my advanced web design class I designed a website specifically for queer youth with the hope that it would help them find information easily and clearly. I designed the website with a minimalist look while using vibrant colors to pay homage to the pride flag while also keeping it slightly playful so the serious topic wouldn’t feel so harsh. Illustrations were designed to be simple and portray different parts of the human body to be on topic but not too risqué for the youth using the website. I also designed a website for the non-profit on-ice art exhibit Art Shanties. This was also designed to be as minimalistic as possible since there was so much information to show. We redesigned the original website to clearly show all the information without feeling messy or overhwleming
